Estimated start dates are approximate due to the work being outdoors and subject to weather conditions and unforeseen ground conditions on other projects which can cause a delay in schedule. All projects are in queue from the time of sale. We handle all utility locates before project begins. Gas, Hydro, Bell, Cogeco, Rogers. Utilities Kingston and Promark. Private locates such as BBQ underground propane lines , backyard lights, or irrigation lines must be marked by homeowner. Locates can take up to 2 weeks.
Before your estimated start date OPF will call you within 24 hours to arrange the site meet with our fence crew to go over the project before we begin excavation of post holes. All property lines are the responsibility of home owner and to be clearly marked or surveyed before OPF is to begin excavation. Once fence lines are marked and determined you will be required to sign off before the crew begins excavation. On start day our specialized fence crew will arrive on site between 8 am – 10 am. We ask that the outside water and power be turned on and accessible. Fence crew will mark out the hole locations for your fence based on fence design. Holes will be drilled, poured concrete and level set posts. Should we encounter hard ground conditions rocks, roots, utilities, construction debris, concrete anything other than soil you will be contacted and made aware of these issues and hard digging charges will be applied if any depending on circumstances. Extra charges are clearly outlined in your contract agreement.
Completion Phase
Once your project is completed you will be asked to do a walk through with the crew team leader. Once you are completely satisfied you will then be asked to sign off and a OPF representative will call you to arrange payment. Payments are due upon completion of work unless special arrangements have been made. Upon completion of your project your sales representative will follow up within a week to see how everything went and all expectations have been met.
